Okay, so my 46 Gnome Warrior Tigerlily http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.x...amp;n=Tigerlily (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Feathermoon&n=Tigerlily)

I was previously an Arms build of http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LmGcbAio00kZV with a very nice 2-handed axe, but was persuaded to give fury a try and I went with a build of http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LZVVzmxxoVuM

Now I know it's gear dependant and I wasn't able to upgrade my armor from the +crit stuff and + dodge I was using for my deep wounds ability and other stuff, and that my weapons aren't ideal for fury...but it's what I had. But it's taking me now over twice as long to kill mobs, even ones 3 levels lower than me.

I think my biggest issue is all that's left to me is heroic strike, cleave, bloodthirst, and hamstring. I can't rend, overpower, thunderclap or mortal strike (obviously).

I start in battle stance with battle shout going and charge in, I drop a demo shout and rend...that usually drops me below 10 rage and I change to berzerker stance. I hit bloodlust when I can and keep demo shout going, but I'm taking horrendous damage nearly every time and not doing enough damage in return by using heroic strike. Even my eviscerate is doing pitiful damage and taking them down 10% or so.

Anyone able to offer advice if they have some spare time?

Until you actually get +hit gear DW is always going to feel inferior to MS or even 2h Fury. DW has more stats to try to build than any 2h build does, you need AP, crit, hit, and stam to survive. With MS or 2h Fury you don't have to worry about hit nearly as much, which is good for lower levels as there doesn't seem to be a lot of +hit gear.

About abilities...When I'm farming I just stay in battle stance, it's much better for me, even though I'm losing 10% ap by not being in zerk. I take less damage, and Bloodthirst helps to make up some of that. Overpower is available, and Rend (were it useful at lvl 70), Thunderclap, demo shout. everything but WW really. you lose 3% crit and 4% ap for you right now. Not a bad tradeoff IMO.

About builds...I think that I'd probably pick up some deflection and drop the imp zerker stance if you plan on doing what I just mentioned with using battle stance. It'll give you a bit more survivability. Also finish out commanding presence.

That's all that comes to mind right now, but take it as you will. I didn't level with any particular build, it was just all mishmash until I hit 60 then I stayed Prot...until 70....and was prot some more....until we started raiding.

So a new build I'm thinking of... http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LZVxzA0xoVu with 3 points left over

dropping unbridled wrath since I'm going 2h fury, I won't be hitting that often so it won't add up fast. Also dropping dual wield specialization since I'm not dual wielding.

Now is Rampage good enough to keep throwing talent points in to get it or just drop at this point and go to another tree?

And for stat itemization, prioritize strength and agil over stamina for the crits?

And would it honestly be better to go back to my arms build of http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LmGcbAio00kZV until the BC content where I can get some decent +hit gear?
