2.3 Unofficial Patch Notes

Blizzard Posters have been very active on 2.3 changes, therefore a list (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=1778027018&sid=1&pageNo=1) has been compiled into patch notes which contains all blue posts related to 2.3, we added several additions to this list made by the wow community (we will keep adding new). General

OMG DAMAGE TAX OMG DAMAGE TAX OMG DAMAGE TAX OMG I PULLED AGGRO OH SHIIIIT

The damage tax was a loss of about 10% damage when you spec'd into Imp Fireball or Imp Frostbolt, two talents that reduce the cast time by .1,.2,.3,.4, and .5 seconds (as you put points on it). As we know, blizz computes many damage effects based on a certain speed, and for some reason they decided to apply the speed nerf to a talent-improved spell.

I'm glad Evoc was changed, because I stopped caring about spirit ages ago.

Ritual of Refreshment may suck, I dunno. I usually hand out 40 water and 20 food all the time (except to a few people who get less - Aurora before he logs, and Wildeyez because he doesn't really need to drink much - and some people get more - Uela always gets 60 water). If this is some retarded 20/20 per click with a 4 minute cooldown, I'm going to be pissed. Some vague rumor suggested it required motes of primals of water. Yes conjuring water is a pain but I'm not farming motes to make it easier.

Hurray, tranquility is getting a buff! Now I can use it every...10 minutes....for 2000 mana...Oh wait! I can spec for improved tranquility and use it....every...10 minutes....WTF!? reduces threat by 50%!? Why are druid talents so worthless!? And why is tranquility so useless!? Way to fix a useless spell Blizz.

FINALLY can use abolish poison in tree form! THANK YOU! But...no remove curse? Wow...just wow. And how about being able to buff in tree form? Ya? Thatd be fan-fucking-tastic, but noooo...tranquility needs to heal for more instead.

Rest is cool.

Druids only go tree form in a party, and other classes can (and should) be removing curses.

... Thanks for the reroll Etri. :P What a seemingly lame replacement for a spell that was cool before it got nerfed (I'll give it a chance, though). On the bright side, either we're gonna have to bring 3 priests to Nightbane or I get to stay in shadowform the whole time. (not that we'll do NB anymore with ZA out) Pretty sure the cooldown timer on his fear is shorter than three freaking minutes.

Stop trying to fix CoH. It just sucks.

Pain suppression looks much more useful (as discussed elesewhere) but ... at the expense of the angel of death I don't know if it's useful enough. Seems kinda like a poor priest's BoP? Only some of the damage reduction, a fraction of the threat reduction, but you can cast it more often! Anyone think it's worth speccing for a raid situation? It would be at the loss of some pretty decent holy talents, so I dunno.

Hooray for the meditation change, though. That kicks ass. Makes getting spirit on my shadow priest gear maybe useful.
