Azgalor trash notes
Wave 1 - tank and kill
Wave 2 - tank and kill. Ranged on Frost wyrm - Raptace tanking. Try to outrange gargoyles to ground them
Wave 3 - ranged splits to 2 groups to handle and kill infernals (G1 = Phewl, Raptace, Rora, Chasidy, Wenge, Erin, Uela. G2 = Zhek, Galeme, Vand, Haythan, Patruuska, Ladunch). G1 moves to the warriors, G2 moves to Thrall. Banish, fear and focus infernals then move to front. Melee kills ghouls.
Wave 4 - Same as wave 3 but with fel stalkers instead of ghouls.
Wave 5 - tank and kill
Wave 6 - Sheep + mind control Necros. MC'd necros buff melee. Melee focus down banshees (magic immunity shield), ranged focus down necros. Fear lose adds as needed.
Wave 7 - Ranged groups deal with infernals, melee kills tanked adds at start. Melee kill order: fel stalkers, ghouls, crypt fiends.
Wave 8 - Shackle aboms. Kite crypt fiends. Melee kill casters. tank and kill.

Unless we need to change it, we are going to tank Azgalor at Thrall and the lesser doomguards at the warriors (which means they need to live!). Thrall must remain DPSing behind Azgalor or he will get creamed by his cleave. Ranged DPS and healers should stay at max range to try to avoid the RoF (supposed 40yd range) and in two seperate groups. During the silence, the MT should stop attacking so he does not get parried and killed. This means DPS has to watch their agro. At all times, a full line of HoTs should be on the MT. Shadow resist is good to help resist some of the silences. Warlocks should have soulstones premade and throw them on people who get the doom debuff.
Doomguard group - Tierran, Wildeyez, Lyre, Saberwolf, 1-2 DPS yet to be determined (hunters or rogues).

It was my understanding that Thrall had to be kept away from Azgalor to keep him safe from the Rain of Fire.

You can decide to use thrall or not. If you do, then melee (which gets blasted with most of the RoFs anyway since most ranged can out-range it) usually go on the doomguards to stop him and them from taking as many RoFs. Even if he does though, most people say its not enough to kill him. A lot of people actually recommend getting the tauren warriors in on Azgalor and then using all of the melee as a doomguard camp. This way melee doesnt become a burden on healers by taking damage nor do they have to farm fire resist gear. This would mean we would have 2 DPS warriors, a feral druid, 2 rogues and a shaman with a healer as the doomguard camp and could likely put another healer on the MT (which sounds good to me).
