I was on my shadow priest at about level 66 or 67, healing a PUG Underbog run where the tank didn't know how to build aggro on more than one mob...I pulled aggro with renew every pull. The hunter didn't know how to trap and refused to after I explained it to him. The rogue didn't sap, and I don't remember the rest.
Took 3.5 hours for that run, we wiped nearly every few pulls....

Id have to say the 3 or 4 dozen times that Ive just outgeared a tank so badly that I either pulled agro and died on the first heal or the tank died in two hits and Im to scared Ill pull agro again if I heal. The best is when they call me a noob because I "overheal" or "underheal" them. Its usually what keeps me going in those instances.

obveously on my druid, healing a heroic steamvaults with a tank that couldent build threat on more then one mob, a 61 point marksman hunter that dident trap because "trapping is survival" and an affliction warlock that used incinerate and cant seduce for shit.
I had to heal myself threw getting shot by one of the casters and cyclone kite a melee naga on me at all times and the pugs were getting mad at me cus it was obveously my fault we were wiping. Cycled threw a ret pally, another rogue, and finaly by the grace of the flying speghetti monster, Seldegas before the first boss. The only characters who survived the encounter were myself, seldy, and the warlock because he only seemed to cc if he was in direct danger. Took a long ass time.

I can attest to Etri's mighty heals being hard for a woefully undergeared tank to keep up with. I think we wiped 5 times in as many pulls in Underbog and every time those spare mobs on the multiple pulls went after Etri, I died a little inside.
Oh wait, this is about healing in a pug! Never mind ... >.> I'm such a snob that I haven't healed for a pug in months. Oh except for Ring of Blood! My paladin is ret, but of course there wasn't another healer to be found so it was me and a feral druid healing. Of course the druid was a regrowth spammer. Anyway, we were just fine up to the last fight when the guy gets big and red and started whacking the crap out of our lvl 69 prot warrior tank. My FoL just couldn't keep up and the tank went down. I can only guess that regrowth man was out of mana by that point. But the funny thing is that we had a hunter in the group (admittedly 70) and it was easier to keep his kitty up than our prot warrior!

Well fortunately there was a fantastic mage there to help save the bacon, AMIRITE?

Oooh, I think you're thinking of ANOTHER horrible run with me tanking. I remember one without a mage cause a mage totally would have helped.
Incidentally, I get a little red dashed line under things I spell wrong here ... I guess it's not the web page but dayamn ... spelling that bad has got to be on purpose!
