People who have been following the WotLK developments already knew that Bliz planned to merge CoS and CoE into a single curse (named CoE...although I think the E should stand for "everything," rather than "elements"). What people did not know is that this change is coming much sooner than expected. Bliz just posted PTR patch notes for 2.4.3, and there is no more CoS...only CoE.

That should increase our RDPS nicely because it will free up a warlock to start casting CoR (or a DPS curse if we don't want CoR on a particular encounter). The change will also substantially increase the RDPS benefits of Malediction, although you need an affliction lock for that...

I'm not going to be surprised at all if once Kalegos is down to farm status seeing the toon Zhek back in our raid...

Your 4 pc, a damage curse, and the fact that at any given time distressing number of people seem to be asleep at the switch should help. If I can beat the real dpsers, so can you!

That's good news about the curse. It's silly to have two separate ones given the direction they've taken. But CoS should stay: Curse of Sorcery ... Sensitivity ... Spells ... oh I suppose enSorcellment >.>

a 40/0/21 spec is supposed to be better for dps and raid buffage as a affliction lock at our gear level, or so i had read.
