Saw this and thought it was pretty funny, but was wondering how much the check was really worth?

I guess it's .2 cents..? Amusingly enough the 0.002 part is the most puzzling.

e^(i*pi) = -1 and the summation is, I believe, 1. Therefore, the answer would be .002.

Brought to a simulated life by our electrode guns. You know, it's an interesting thing when you consider...the Earth people, who can think, are so frightened by those who cannot: the dead. |

The memo is fantastic.
Code:
kopunch% math
Mathematica 5.2 for Linux x86 (64 bit)

-- Terminal graphics initialized --
In[1]:= 0.002 + E^(I*Pi) + Sum[1/(2^n), {n, Infinity}]
Out[1]= 0.002
